Efficient Data Security

Ensuring your data is available, accessible, and secure at all times is critical to your company’s mission and success.  Therefore, we realize that securing sensitive data throughout the entire process of collection, transmission, storage, and backup is crucial.  Whether in the form of W-4s, insurance information, or other data, our Efficient Solution provides a multiple layered security system that surpasses industry best practices to ensure your data’s security and availability.  Simply log in using your current web-browser: Internet Explorer 7+, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox.  Like using email or online banking, your Efficient account is available when you need it and simple to navigate.

Our security infrastructure provides security that can be described in two broad categories: Logical and Physical security.

Our security measures are designed to deter, detect, and deny any type of intrusion or interruption in service. Security starts for users at login with unique user IDs and passwords, and once the user is authenticated in our system, a secure session begins.  All data viewed or collected while connected is encrypted in high-standard 128 bit encryption to create a secure connection from the user to the cloud.  Secure transmission of data is assured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology and provides the strongest form of encryption available.  Once a session reaches a certain length of inactivity, the system logs the user off automatically, preventing unauthorized access.

Our servers are housed in secure data centers with around the clock monitoring, and backup measures are also in place to provide continuous service in the event of interruption to our primary systems.  Our data centers have attained SaS 70 Type II (Statement on Auditing Standards) certification by an independent auditing firm, Deloitte and Touché, LLP.  This stringent independent certification ensures our data centers follow and surpass industry best practices.  Our systems have back up power generation as well as an uninterrupted power supply, meaning we will never lose your data due to system crashes that can happen with other programs.

We are often asked about “hacking”.  The reality is that “hackers” account for only a very small percentage of data loss and data theft.  The fact is that most data loss is a result of lost or stolen equipment, such as laptops.  When using our solution’s site, your data is never stored locally on your computer, therefore even if your computers were stolen, no data would be compromised.

In summary, while no system can provide 100% guarantee of security, every precaution is taken to ensure that our Efficient Solution provides maximum up-time, data security, and availability.  We handle security and new program necessities, you simply log in and get to work.
